Equipping Girls with Tools for a Sustainable Future
In Uganda, adolescent girls experience poverty through gender inequalities that leave them with little or no formal education, powerless and vulnerable with no skills to attain decent jobs. These difficulties force them into early marriages, commercial sex and low paid work denying them of their human rights.
Key Support Initiatives
Many adolescent girls in Uganda face poverty and vulnerability due to gender inequalities and lack of formal education.
We provide:
- Vocational training in tailoring, crafts, and agriculture.
- Tools and resources to help girls start their own businesses.
- Support networks to foster economic resilience and empowerment.
